Rufous-headed Tanager (Hemithraupis ruficapilla)

A small, multicolored and very active tanager endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical moist montane forest and usually accompanies mixed-species flocks. The male has a rust-colored head, yellowish sides of the neck and a light brown chest. This tanager feeds on fruits and insects, mainly larvae.
